The company FULLPROFI can handle bedbugs and other pests. And at our creative studio Signus, we know how to make a modern and functional website.
They've been on the market since 2011, and it all started with bedbugs. Police pyrotechnician and cynologist Ján Löw longed to found a company that would effectively, modernly, and safely eliminate bed parasites. His wife Andrea wasn't entirely sure about the idea at first, but now she sees it differently. She goes on up to about 12 diagnostic and 6 intervention trips against bed bugs daily. FULLPROFI specializes in monitoring and disinsection of bed bugs and other pests in households and public spaces. Moreover, they were the first in Central Europe to start using trained dogs to search for bed bugs. Success in this unique process is up to 99%. In addition, they also focus on professional disinfection and pest control. All with emphasis on safety and ecology.
The brief
The goal was to create a new website and e-shop according to the client's ideas that would clearly communicate the services provided. Part of the brief was editing and creating professional texts for the website and blog.
The vision
Since the company offers a lot of services and the site includes an e-shop, functionality and user simplicity were paramount. We processed the texts into a clear form that brings challenging topics closer even to laypeople.
The execution
1. Design of the new website combined with the e-shop
For client FULLPROFI, it was an extensive website with many subpages, information, products, services, and also a standalone e-shop. To navigate visitors as easily as possible and save them time, we emphasized large sliders with captivating photos and punchy text. We designed a specific wireframe layout with regard to UX/UI (User Experience/User Interface), which logically guides the visitor through the entire website without getting lost in its content. A clear menu, striking buttons with direct linking, or footer navigation — these are all elements of a functional website.
2. Complete website implementation according to the graphic design — HTML, CSS
According to the defined plan, we then proceeded with implementation. The subpages are uniform and naturally follow one another. The homepage immediately introduces the company, main services, and certification. We divided products in the e-shop into several main categories. There's also a filter, search option, and display of promotional products. The product page reveals more necessary information and also offers similar products from the category. The site header prominently displays contact as an immediate "call-to-action" and a Facebook link. The final website is fully responsive, meaning its display is adapted to various screen interfaces (tablet, mobile, PC).
3. Preserving links from the old website and e-shop
Since our client already had an existing website that some visitors were used to, we had to preserve the original links. We didn't want satisfied and loyal customers to face disappointment when transitioning to the redesign.
4. Professional copywriting of website and blog texts
The topic of pest control or disinfection is challenging in itself. A company that provides such services must also educate its website visitors. Many of us don't even suspect we could have a similar problem. The biggest misconception among people is the notion that bed bugs and pests are found only where there's dirt. The new website texts are clear, precise, and factual. We didn't intend to unnecessarily lead visitors away from the topic; on the contrary, we tried to provide answers to their questions and solutions to their problems. Everything people are interested in, the company should use to its advantage and address it on the blog. In FULLPROFI's case, that's unambiguously the skilled dogs. Through such articles, they get closer to their current and potential customers and lighten up an unpleasant topic.
