Natur Farm has been bringing quality natural food with verified origin since 2008. It all started with love and respect for traditional methods of processing raw materials and honest farming craft.
The desire to fill the tables of Slovak households with delicious food and raw materials from fields, orchards, and farms turned through perseverance and hard work into a strong and reliable supplier. The Natur Farm brand today fills the shelves of the most famous retail chains as well as the virtual windows of popular e-shops.
The brief
The goal was to create a new and functional website according to the client's ideas, with emphasis on the internal graphic design.
The vision
The concept was clear. Focus on maximum functionality and user comfort. Make the website more transparent, simpler, and practical. At the same time, preserve all important information, links, and strengthen the brand's ecological emotion.

The execution
1. Redrawing the graphic design
It's always good if the client has at least some idea of the visual side of the website. A reference to another site they like or defining basic elements and their layout is enough. Such "preparation" facilitates overall communication, and the implementation itself will be more progressive. Our client defined their requirements quite precisely. We had at our disposal a graphic design that showed which way to go. We redrew the design and enriched it with functional and visually working elements. We designed a specific wireframe layout with regard to UX/UI.
2. Adjustment based on UX/UI
User Experience (UX) is today discussed perhaps more than the visual design of the website itself. We can only agree. Internet users are surrounded daily by a multitude of information, and since time is the most precious commodity, practicality and good experience are number one for them. Experience is directly influenced by the web or user interface (UI), meaning the arrangement and mutual interaction of individual elements on the website, e-shop, or in the mobile application. Simply put, users must feel on the visited platform as if they've been on it before and know it well.
3. Menu with vector icons
A great example of incorporating UX/UI design into Natur Farm's new website is the application of vector icons in the product menu. There are 12 product categories in the menu in total. By the time a user read all of them, they would lose a lot of time and above all patience, which could lead to a complete loss of interest and leaving the site. And we can't afford such a risk. The icons are eloquent, visually appealing, and practical. Besides facilitating user experience, they also greatly enliven the interface.
4. Design and implementation of the product page (uploading and organizing the product catalogue)
There were 12 product categories, and each of them contained many other individual products. The task we faced was logical and systematic arrangement of products in the product catalogue. We kept the product preview more detailed. Our goal was to preserve product readability in the grid (or list), even at the cost of a smaller number per page, over displaying as many products as possible but with the absence of simple understanding of what product it is. We enriched the product catalogue with playful icons with labels like "PREMIUM," "SALE," "NATURE," or "SEAFOOD," which again facilitated and made browsing more attractive. Clicking on a specific product is clear and doesn't burden the user with unnecessary information or visual noise. Product composition, weight, or nutritional values are legible for the product. Links to similar products aren't missing, which motivates the user to stay on the site.
5. Blog styling and blog articles
A blog is an absolute necessity. Not only does it directly refer to your website and increase organic reach, but it also increases brand credibility and gives room to create positive emotions. Blog articles can be worked with effectively within social networks and gain a customer with interesting content. In the case of Natur Farm, we worked mainly with topics like recipes or tests. Articles can easily be filtered by tags or category. They're automatically sorted by relevance and are displayed directly in news. The user can share each article on various platforms with a simple click.
6. Connecting to social networks and the e-shop
A given was connecting the website to Facebook and Instagram, as well as to the e-shop, where products can be purchased. We solved the problem again functionally by incorporating vector icons with direct clicking to a new window.
